New Member in 2014
In March, RJM Construction joined MIAMA as a vendor member. As a general contractor with more than 17 years of experience in ice arenas, the RJM team has assisted with the budgeting, planning and construction of more than 20 ice arena and locker room projects, including facilities used by the NHL. We understand the specific needs of the end users and help guide clients in making effective building infrastructure, systems and material choices.
The connection of MIAMA and RJM will provide RJM a better understanding of client needs, and MIAMA members a reliable construction resource.
RJM performs as an extension of ice arena staff, analyzing all details of the project to achieve the best value. We understand the extensive planning involved in building an ice arena or adding on to the facility.
Our most recent example is the Plymouth Ice Arena, where we are providing construction management services for an expansion. Owned by the City of Plymouth, the ice arena will receive a 7,500-sq.-ft. addition to be used as a training center for hockey players of all levels.
Our team has provided traditional general contracting, design/build partnerships and construction management services to local municipalities for more than 10 years. Headquartered in Minneapolis, with offices in Denver and Phoenix, RJM has more than 150 specialized staff members and an approximate annual construction volume of $200 million.
